Empowering Women. Strengthening Families. Uniting Communities.

OUR STORY

The North Lanarkshire Muslim Women and Family Alliance was established in 1994 to provide Muslim women and their children with the opportunity to meet, study and promote understanding within their own religion and culture – and beyond.

It also provides opportunity for social contacts, guidance, support and integration between generations and the wider community.

The Alliance has over 200 members and is a very active organisation. We provide many services such as: advocacy, befriending, cultural/art events, health and environmental programmes and learning opportunities.
